January 5, 2023: The Democratic Party of Georgia Progressive Council Executive Board and members are saddened by the passing of our Chair, Rev. Terence Dicks, Southern Regional organizer and Georgia State Coordinator for the Progressive Democrats of America (PDA), Board Member of Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) representing The Edge Connection at Kennesaw State University, the 2019 Liberty Bell Awardee of the Georgia Legal Services Program, and former Georgia Coalition for the Peoples' Agenda (GCPA) Regional Coordinator among others. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family and colleagues whom he diligently served with in the pursuit of freedom and justice. We commit to continue in his legacy through the work of The Democratic Party of Georgia Progressive Council.
